NH EASY
New Hampshire Electronic Application System, is the state's online portal that allows residents to apply for and manage various assistance programs, including Medicaid, food assistance (SNAP), child care, cash benefits, and the Medicare Savings Program.
Health/ Dental Insurance
WellSense Health Plan is a New Hampshire-based health insurance provider that offers comprehensive coverage, including Medicaid and Medicare plans, designed to support individuals and families with accessible and affordable care. Their services focus on preventive care, chronic condition management, and member wellness programs. Gentle Dental, with multiple locations across the state, provides high-quality dental care with a focus on comfort and convenience. They accept a variety of insurance plans, including WellSense, making dental care more accessible to those with state-supported health coverage. Together, WellSense and Gentle Dental help promote overall health by addressing both medical and dental needs in the community.


SNHS
Southern New Hampshire Services (SNHS), now operating as Community Action Partnership Hillsborough and Rockingham Counties (CAPHR), offers a comprehensive array of programs aimed at addressing the root causes of poverty and promoting self-sufficiency. Their services encompass workforce and economic development, education, child development, health, food and nutrition, housing, and energy assistance. SNHS employs a Whole Family Approach, engaging all family members to create achievable goals, streamline access to services, and coordinate with community partners. This holistic strategy emphasizes workforce development, financial literacy, quality education, and healthy nutrition to break the cycle of generational poverty. Additionally, SNHS provides volunteer opportunities, including Meals on Wheels and other community service initiatives, allowing individuals to give back and support their neighbors.
WIC
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in New Hampshire provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and healthy foods to income-eligible pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children up to age five. To qualify, applicants must meet categorical, residential, income, and nutritional risk criteria. Income eligibility is determined based on federal poverty guidelines; for example, a family of four must have an annual income at or below $57,720 to qualify
