I am deeply grateful to the Community Engagement Training Center for the support I have received since I arrived in the Nashua community. I have had a wonderful experience based on learning, teamwork, and the hope of achieving my dreams. The Community Engagement Training Center is that helping hand we all need when we arrive in a new place for the first time.
I am especially grateful to Mrs. Ángela Mercado and her daughter Emely Mercado, my teacher, for believing in me when I thought I could not. El Centro de Capacitación para la Participación Comunitaria es una organización sin fines de lucro comprometida a empoderar a los miembros de la comunidad a través de un programa de capacitación interno integral. Nuestro enfoque principal es proporcionar recursos de información esenciales, atendiendo a diversas necesidades de personas que buscan orientación sobre servicios públicos, salud, apoyo legal, educación y más. Ubicado dentro de nuestro Centro Comunitario, ofrecemos un espacio inclusivo donde los miembros de la Comunidad pueden acceder a una variedad de cursos, desde inglés hasta conocimientos básicos de informática y capacitación especializada en liderazgo, vivienda y finanzas. Nuestro enfoque holístico aborda las necesidades básicas, incluida la asistencia alimentaria y de vestimenta, lo que lo convierte en nuestro centro para el desarrollo personal y el apoyo comunitario.
